GEO, SEO & Thought Leadership in 2026
Workshop for communications professionals who want to stay visible
How to make sure your target audience discovers you in a world where content creation seems to have turned into a numbers game?
Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, blog posts, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube: there are many potential paths that can lead people to your organization. And you’re trying to leverage them all.
Before you know it, you’re a little visible in lots of places… but you don’t stand out anywhere. Your content strategy feels like a weekly recurring 50-hour battle against an intangible algorithmic force:
- You’re drowning in the sheer amount of “relevant” channels and platforms
- You’re working around the clock to simultaneously please 10 algorithms
- Those 10 algorithms change their rules every 10 days or so
- You don’t know which SEO best practices are still relevant in 2026
- You do know you need to jump on the “GEO train,” but it’s a black box
As a communications manager, strategist, or marketing expert, you feel overwhelmed. And the pressure is real: your organization’s online visibility is your responsibility, and you’re expected to expand it.
So, you revert to the dreaded content mill: you squeeze out an increasing amount of content and hurl everything onto the World Wide Web. “We’ll see what sticks,” you say.
But it doesn’t feel right. Running a media production factory is not what you signed up for. And randomly sharing content to see what will stick bothers your strategic mind.
What’s even worse is that this high-pressure situation might force you to publish AI-generated content that robs your organization of its unique voice, positioning, and messaging. Your audience no longer knows what makes you stand out. So, you’re giving them less reasons to stick around.
To improve the situation, you download all the prompts, frameworks, and checklists you can find. But you’re not getting the hoped-for results, because these “tools” are incredibly generic or formulaic.
The question that keeps communications professionals up at night:
“How do we become visible to high-quality leads and convert them into loyal customers?”
I get this question pretty much every week, and I’ve found that the underlying problem always falls into one of these categories:
1. “People can’t find our content.”
The problem: you don’t have a handle on SEO (visibility in traditional search engines) or GEO (visibility in LLMs like Claude or ChatGPT). Your content might be very strong, but you’re the best kept secret in your industry.
2. “People can find our content but don’t convert.”
The problem: you’re posting content that meets visibility best practices, but it’s very generic (if you’re honest, your 13-year-old nephew could have created it, too). This is worse than #1, because this type of content makes it seem as if your organization doesn’t have much value to add. It’s damaging your reputation. And potential customers are gone before you’ve ever had a chance to talk to them.
3. “People can find our content and convert, but we can’t retain these new customers.”
The problem: although you excel at communicating your USP’s, you’re not building thought leadership. People are attracted to one service, product, or project, which leads to short-term success. But the minute a competitor offers something that looks a tiny little bit better, you’ve lost these customers. They don’t stick around for you, because they have no idea who you are or what you stand for.
The common denominator:
You think of your strategy as an either/or dilemma: you’re focusing on either thought leadership or visibility. That’s why you’re not meeting your content goals.
If you want the right people to find you and convert into loyal customers, you need a combination of three elements:
GEO + SEO + thought leadership
This combination allows you to build topical authority. It helps you create unique content that increases your visibility and gets you the results you want.
Ready to develop a strategy that works in 2026?
GEO, SEO & Thought Leadership in 2026 is a workshop that helps you build effective visibility strategies.
In one afternoon, I’ll teach you and your team what you need to know to master GEO, SEO, and thought leadership. We’ll skip outdated SEO textbook advice and focus on practical guidelines that will significantly improve your strategy.
You’ll walk away with:
- Topical authority knowledge: how can you build authority on the specific topics you’re an expert at?
- Implementation framework: how can you use my 6-part framework for building topical authority on various channels?
- SEO best practices in 2026: which SEO techniques work in this AI era (and which ones can you toss in the bin)?
- GEO writing principles: which 15 principles can you use to optimize your content for LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity?
Who organizes the workshop?
Hi, I’m Annalisa Koukouves. As a strategist, storyteller, producer, and entrepreneur, I help you turn your vision into impact. In the past 16+ years, I’ve worked with more than 200 organizations (including Fortune 500 and Big Four) and hundreds of CEOs, founders, and artists across the globe. With my help, they’ve successfully built strategies around thought leadership, visibility (SEO and GEO), content (podcasts, videos, and copy), change communications, and employer branding.
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter formulas or one-size-fits-all methods. I do believe in building custom strategies that include proven techniques. Time and again, this approach has gotten my clients tangible results (usually a lot faster than expected).
